The Way Through is a documentary filmed by Billy SUllivan during fifty-two days of hiking the high ridges and passes of the North Cascades National park in 2008. The Way Through shows images of the North Cascades National Park, the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area and the mountain village of Stehekin, Washington. It tells the story of two old friends who meet again in Stehekin and continue the journey they began fifty years earlier. It offers a rare glimpse into the life-style of Stehekin from the 1950s to the present. Produced from the rare high definition tapes and historical photos collected by Billy Sullivan and other Stehekin residents.
